PUC in February 2007 successfully represented the Nigerian Communications Commission in a Suit which challenged the competence of a State Government to enact a law attempting, in the main to regulate and control the erection and installation of telecommunications masts. In a judgment delivered by the Federal High Court on 23rd February 2007, the Court upheld our submissions that telecommunications is under the exclusive legislative list and that no state government or state legislature has power or competence to legislate thereon.
