PUC successfully defended this Suit at the Cross River State High Court in May 2008. The Plaintiff sought the Court for declaration that the transaction entered between the parties in respect of a piece of land is a lease and an order of injunction to restrain the Defendants from doing anything that will be inconsistent with the rights of the Plaintiff in respect of the said land.

On filing our Statement of Defence in the Suit, the Plaintiff realizing the weakness of her case filed a Notice of Discontinuance and the Suit was accordingly stuck out.
