PUC was established in Kaduna, Nigeria in 1985 for the purpose of providing comprehensive legal services in both transactional practice and advocacy to corporate clients. In recognition of the status of Lagos as the commercial capital of Nigeria, in 1992,the firm moved its head office to the old NIDB House in Lagos Marina district, maintaining the Kaduna office as a branch office. From its new location in Marina, PUC was able to service various clients in the banking sector (many of whom were also located in the area at the time). This period also marked the entry of PUC into the Communications and Maritime sectors which it has since come to dominate.
Following a fruitful 14 years in Marina, in 2006, the PUC head office moved once more; this time to the bubbling Victoria Island district which was fast becoming the new nerve centre of commerce in Lagos. Once more, PUC found itself in a prime location, within easy distance of many clients across various sectors ranging from banking to oil and gas and communications. Coupled with branch offices in Abuja, Kaduna and Uyo, PUC has effectively built a network capable of servicing an array of clients interests.
In the years since its establishment, PUC has secured a position of strength in the market by constantly improving its work product both in terms of work quality and timely delivery whilst simultaneously building on old client relationships and developing new ones.
